维护工作的安全规则只有经过系统学习才可以进行维修工作。（1）保持维修场地的清洁卫生。（2）维修时，身上不要带松散物品或贵重物品。维修(全/半)电动堆高车电气系统时，如若金属接触到通电电子元件易造成短路或燃烧。所以，请摘下手表、耳环或其它饰物。（3）(全/半)电动堆高车维修前，先拔掉电源插座，断开电源。（4）在打开左右箱盖或电气系统前，应关闭(全/半)电动堆高车的钥匙开关。（5）在检查液压系统前，应使货叉下降，释放系统压力。（6）检查车体漏油状况时，请用纸或硬纸板揩拭，切勿用手直接接触。以免烫伤。（7）请注意传动装置或液压系统中油温可能较高，应先使(全/半)电动堆高车冷却后，然后更换齿轮油或液压油，以防油温高导致燃烧。8）液压系统应加注新的清洁油。

堆高车电机的保养（1）为保证电池寿命，电池投入使用前应充足电，充电不足的电池不可使用。（2）电池尽量避免过充和过放。电池过充和过放会严重影响电池性能和寿命。（3）电池液孔塞和气盖应保持清洁，充电时取下或打开电完毕应装上或闭合。电池表面、连接线及螺钉应保持清洁、干燥。如有硫酸，用棉纱蘸上碱液擦去，应注意不要让碱液进入电池内。（4）充电完成后，应检查电池液位，及时补加蒸馏水以保持液面高度。正常情况下严禁补加稀硫酸。（5）电池使用后，应及时充电，放置时间一般不超过24小时。（6）充电时应保持良好的通风，严禁烟火。（7）出现下列情况，电池需作均衡充电。
