Water lines and process pipework can become a real problem when temperatures drop below freezing. It’s only when the thaw comes that you realise the damage a split or cracked water pipe can cause.
The (XEL) family of self-regulating,parallel circuit heating cables is used for frost protection of metal and plastic pipes and vessels.With the facility to cut on site to the problem of frozen pipework.
It can also be used for low temperature process maintenance up to 30 ℃。Maximum exposure temperature 90℃.
Will not withstand steam cleaning process.
For safe or hazardous area applications.

5. Thermal stability: After circulating for 300times from 10℃to 99℃, cable heat is maintained at 90% and above.

7. Insulation resistance: if cable length is 100m and thermostatic water is 75℃ ,testing insulation resistance is 20MΩ at least. As for shielding or explosive-proof & protective type, test for 1 min between shielding layer and conductive wire core in 2,500VDC in 20℃, insulation resistance is 1200MΩ at least.
