THE GROUP TARGETSThe Newlast group rises in the 90ies from the idea and the will of the President, Roberto Carlone, to apply the knowledge learnt within years of experience in the branch of industrial machine-tools to a field tied to time and obsolete working procedures, the one in manufacture of lasts for footwear.From the beginning the goal is to reach to an integrate process, highly technological , that, starting from the base of every footwear, the planning and manufacturing of the last, it arrives to the commercialization of the footwear itself meaning, in a tangible way, in feedback on the product quality and on services for the consumer.Savings in operating costs, decrease of “time to market”, precision of manufacturing, simplification and standardization of the productive process, on-line data interchange. These are the group targets.
Quality, Innovation and Research, since always, are the principle guide.All this has made Newlast a worldwide technological reference, since 10 years the sector leader, copied and imitated from many but never equalized by anyone.Today Newlast group boasts among its products, beside its most developed systems for the modification, the planning, the prototyping and the production of lasts, also systems for the automatic cuts of leather and synthetic materials, platforms CAD / CAM , systems for digitalization of the consumers’ feet and, apex of technological daisy, a technical collaboration with the Swiss company UTD creator of the Right Shoes platform, that assists the consumer in the choice of the correct size shoe without the need of a physical try.

SDF SYSTEM SDF 系统The system is based on the engineering of a particular kind of clamp on the top of the last called “SDF dovetail clamping” (this replaces the traditional locks on the toe and on the heel).
This kind of clamp allows first of all the perfect copying of the complete last.
The generated data are converted into a 3D file that responds perfectly to the physical model.
This file can be archive into a storage for a future use or it can be adjust and match with another model by using NL-EASYLAST3D CAD/CAM.
The obtained model can be completely turned, in few minutes, without any further manual finishing (before they were essential to remove the clamps).
When the result satisfies the designer, the file can be sent to the production , anywher in the world, with the certainty that the final results will be in line with the original intent of the stylist.

Digital communication with axis and motors for a precise working without interferences.
The system works using absolute encoders on the motors in order to avoid the zeroring of the machine every time it starts to work.
The set composed by drives, motors and numerical control is the result of a collaboration together with an important Company worldwide leader in providing of this kind of technology.
The high reliability allows us to grant 24 months of total warranty on the electronic moving machine components and 10 years of components availability.
ConTACT DIGITIZING 三维扫描Contact Digitizing is the most simple system to scan the three dimensional last surface.
The scanning of the model is carried out by a toroidal roller that runs along the last with a spiral path.
The roller, thanks to an air actuator, remains tangent to the last and is in connection with a linear transducer that derives the prototype measures.
This kind of Digitizing system is suitable for simple last. The pressure of the roller and of the tailstocks is an handicap in case of tapered and frail lasts.
Moreover the roller dimension limits the collection of the details.
Finally the need to have the clamps on the toe and on the heel of the lasts prevents to use this system of digitizing for the SDF technology.
LASER DIGITIZING 激光数字化The laser Digitizing permits to scan three dimensional surfaces with a resolution and a level of details without comparison.
The conoscopic technology allows to scan up to 3000 points/s without ambient interferences (light conditions, temperature, etc.) and without problems related to the color of the surface.
Unlike the triangulation systems the great advantage of this method is the possibility to measure surfaces with angles of incidence close to 90°.
Finally, thanks to the special clamp on the top of the last, it’s possible to obtain a complete scansion of the last with maximum accuracy on the toe and on the heel.
The obtained surface, without supports, is the necessary requirement for the use of SDF milling technology.
BEAM OF LIGHT DIGITIZING 光数字化波束A low power laser source, by a suitable optic, produces a coherent and monochromatic beam of light that strikes perpendicularly the object to be scanned (foot or last).
The process of surface rebuilding increases trough the elaboration of the images catched by cameras located in proper angles in relation with the beam of light.
The exams of the deformation of the beam of light that scan the object, trough a triangulation process, is possible to rebuilt the information regarding the 3D surface.
