如图示磁条卡，其中磁条宽度12.7mm (0.5INCH), 属于3磁道，也有8mm宽磁道的。

分高抗（hico）和低抗（hico）两种，高抗常用2750 OE, 低抗常用300 OE, 这两个是国际标准的。也有其他如4000 OE。

OE是磁抗单位。表明低抗外界干扰能力。

Here is magnetic stripe card.

Usually the magnetic stripe width is 12.7mm or say 0.5 inch, and it has three magnetic tracks (something like road, the information is in it.). The other is 8mm width, 2 tracks.

There is another division of magnetic stripe: magnetic resistance. 

  300 oe

2750 oe4000 oe 

oe is the unit of magnetic resitance. Higher means magnetic stripe can keep its info in "worse" condition.

300 oe is loco(low coercivity), 2750 oe is hico(high coercivity). But this does not mean hico is better than loco.

Which to choose is according system to use, or say the card reader.
