Fiber Laser Cutting Head
The cutting head is composed of three main parts:
Collimator unit
Cutting head body
Sensor body
Collimator unit:
-Standard straight collimator
-QBH connector for 50 μm fiber
-22.5° rotation (16 steps) adjustment for exact fiber coupling
-Liquid cooled lens unit
-Collimator lens with focal distance of 75 mm
-Distance adjustment of ±2 mm
-Max laser power option: 2 kW or 5 kW
Cutting head body:
-lIntegrated liquid cooling for both head, body and focal lens body
-lNo cooling by gases introduced inside the head, thus avoiding any possible contamination of the optical elements
-Constant temperature of the optical elements, eliminating any focal shift due to temperature fluctuation and therefor a guaranteed cutting quality
-Integrated passage for cutting gasses and nozzle cooling gas
-Manual Z adjustment from 18 mm below up to 8 mm above nozzle tip
-Easy extractable lens holder
-±1.5 mm adjustment for compensation of fiber cable accuracy
-Integrated X, Y adjustment of the sensor body
-Focal lens distance : 150 mm
Sensor Body:
-Easy to extract due to application of a bayonet fixation
-Integrated protection window at a distance of 130 mm from the nozzle tip, to reduce the probability of contamination of the window due to the cutting process
-CFD calculated gas flow to assure a laminated cutting-gas flow across the nozzle tip and therefor optimized cutting quality
-The sensor body is standard prepared to fit a capacitive sensor
